Saturday Biking - now 2 1/2 days and counting....

Had an awesome day yesterday when a group of us went biking in the Afan Forest.  Rained like buggery, more wind than the baked beans by the campfire scene in Blazing Saddles and now ache as if I’ve spent the night in a cement mixer.  This morning, I got on my bike to cycle home and my butt couldn’t touch the saddle!

We did the W2 route.  You’ll need a pdf reader to open the trail map.

So, today there’s a bundle load of chores to do because it’s the last weekend before we go on hols.  I’m extremely busy mulling over them with the aid of a cuppa and bacon butty.  But, I have already pressure washed all the bikes, taken the van back to work and mowed the lawn this morning so I think I can have brekkie now.  Soon to be followed by elevenses (?Poss. dodgy spelling?)

Found out the other day that the dog sitter on the farm has managed to mangle her ankle so I’m hoping that the dog won’t play up too much.

Todays congratulations go to the half brother Matthew for passing his Masters in something or other this last week.

Finally for now – Happy Fathers Day Dad!  I hope the card made you smile!

Tata for now!
